One of my WHYS for being an entrepreneur and being a business owner is that I get to selected the projects I work on and the organizations I partner with and another is TO GIVE BACK! Many years ago I helped @catholiccharitieseastbay celebrate the opening of the Richmond office and last night, after almost a year of planning we celebrated the agency’s 85 anniversary. Through those months we planned 4 or 5 different event - as the landscape of the pandemic and the event possibi...lities changed we had to continue to reinvent the way to commentate milestones and raise funds. I think the team did a great job and we raised just under $85k - which will go to help prevent homelessness, support Covid19 recovery and support those during the legal struggles and those amidst grief. A year ago I had never even done a Zoom call, but last night we helped produce a VIRTUAL event for Catholic Charities East Bay! They celebrated their 85th Anniversary with a LIVE streamed fundraiser. We learned SO much and as always we couldn’t do it without having the best partners and tools.
