What is the LA Times up to after its reporters voted to unionize?

Congratulations to the journalists of the Los Angeles Times, who voted to unionize under NewsGuild, part of our parent union Communications Workers of America! The decisive vote in favor of unionization was 248 to 44.

UCLA's students have raised their voices to question the campus' response yesterday to the fire raging near campus. Today, students are not expected to attend classes, but staff are not being given the same courtesy. "University of Chicago graduate students have voted to unionize by an overwhelming margin. 1,103 yes votes were counted, exceeding the combined 479 counted no votes and the 149 votes that were challenged.
