Spring Hollow Vineyard 26.12.2020

2020 Harvest is done. We harvested 1900 lbs. of our zinfandel in 2.5 hours with the help of 16 people. We sold 1100 lbs. to the same local winemaker we sold to in 2014 and kept 800 lbs and pressed it off (free run) to 40 gallons of juice. We will make year's this vintage into a rose’ wine. This year's harvest was different with health & safety of high priorty: everyone wore masks and we had lots of sanitizer available. The air quality was great to be outside. Thanks to everyone that participated!

Thank you to all that helped make our 2018 harvest a success on Saturday. The clusters were large and beautiful. This was our largest harvest ever as we brought in 4440 lbs. of our zinfandel , of which nearly 2700 lbs were sold to Griffin Hill Vineyards. Now the wine making task begins and the vineyard can have a well deserved drink of water and gently rest.
