Sprig climbs in the SVBJ/SFBT Best Places To Work rankings from 23 in 2019 to Sweet 16 in 2020 The work we perform is a collaborative group effort: It is about challenge, change, determination and dedication. It is about caring and compassion. It is about being professional and personal. It is about being friendly and having fun. It is ALL about our people. These last few weeks have been a challenge for all Sprig employees. This announcement came at exactly the right time. It reminds us that by working together, approaching tasks from a new perspective and even with more remote work locations than we ever thought possible, we are connected and united and that is why we continue to be recognized as a Best Places to Work employer. While you are at home, here is a great recipe for making your own hand sanitizer. This is a great project to do with your kids too! What you will need: -3/4 cup of ispropyl or rubbing alcohol -1/4 cup of aloe vera gel (this is to help keep your hands smooth from the harshness of the alcohol)... -10 drops of essential oil or you can use lemon juice Directions: -Pour all ingredients into a bowl, ideally one with a pouring spout like a glass measuring container. -Mix with a spoon and then beat with a whisk to turn the sanitizer into a gel. -Pour the ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use, and label it hand sanitizer." #handsanitizer #homemade #recipe https://www.healthline.com/heal/how-to-make-hand-sanitizer

Happy Earth Day! This year is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and we have seen many changes in the last couple months. Since COVID-19, many states have put a shelter-in-place and the Earth seems to be healing. Two weeks ago, satellite data from NASA showed a 30% drop in air pollutants in the northeastern section of the U.S. during March. We have also seen the ozone layer recovering during this time. After states lift their shelter-in-place bike or using public transportation and continue to use your vehicles less. Get a group of friends/family together to volunteer to cleanup your communities. Reduce, reuse, and recycle. These are just a couple of simple things you can do to help keep our Earth safe every day of the year. #EarthDay #50thanniversary #COVID #healing

To help meet this moment, Sprig is continuing essential electrical work at Roche Molecular Diagnostics in Pleasanton, CA a leader in diagnostics who is actively researching, developing and testing a SARS-CoV-2 vaccination onsite. Our crew is tasked with receptacle conversions and wiremold in two separate confidential labs and a boiler autoclave (steam sterilization) project. Under normal circumstances, Sprig would consider this scope of work to be simple, but during a pan...demic there are many challenges we must strategize and precautions we must take to protect our clients and our employees. Exceeding our client’s expectations safely and efficiently is our priority. Roche and Sprig worked together on the following guidelines to reduce health and safety risks for all: our crew has been downsized to one electrician (our everyday hero Jeff Smith, General Foreman), occupancy has been limited in our work areas and because work is taking place during business hours in an occupied building, NFPA 70e protocol is being followed to the highest degree. Sprig has been Roche’s preferred electrical subcontractor for work across their facility over the past decade. We are proud to serve Roche during this critical time in their industry and we are committed to solving any electrical issues during this Shelter in Place order set forth by California and the surrounding counties. We are in this together and together we will meet this moment! #sprigelectric #togetheralone #SIP #meetthismoment #exceedingexpectations
