Our Spring Festival is just a few weeks away! Join us!

Harvest the Arts is here again, and this time with a vintage vibe! Join us for a fun-filled night of eating, drinking and dancing with Sparrow parents. There will be a silent auction (classroom projects and theme-filled baskets) and a live auction of exciting varieties. Money raised from this annual fundraiser will go to NEST, benefiting Sparrow's many programs. Food is included with ticket purchase.

Our Parent Enrichment Program is back! Join us as we journey through the grades - starting with Handwork. Come hear from our Handwork Teacher - Ms. Bianca, as she guides through projects and skills that the children learn in each grade. Thursday, October 18th, 8:45-10:15am, in the Handwork Classroom (formerly the 6th Grade Classroom, upstairs, above the stage).

"Children who use smartphones and other devices in their free time for less than two hours a day performed better on cognitive tests assessing their thinking, language and memory, according to a study published Wednesday in the Lancet Child & Adolescent Health. The study assessed the behavior of 4,500 children, ages 8 to 11, by looking at their sleep schedules, how much time they spent on screens and their amount of exercise, and analyzed how those factors affected the children’s mental abilities."

The Waldorf curriculum takes a deep look at numbers and math processes, all the while making it a fun, exciting learning experience!
