The City has 8 new trash and recycle receptacles located on Grand Ave between Spruce Ave and Airport Blvd, City Hall (upper parking lot) and People’s Park on Maple Ave. The units have the traditional handle to open the lid as well as a foot pedal. To celebrate this milestone, we encourage the youngest generation of South San Franciscans to re-imagine the future City Hall of South San Francisco. Families will develop S.T.E.A.M. skills as they imagine and construct their futuristic cardboard City Hall at home. CONSTRUCTION ALERT - 2020 Street Surface Seal Project October 24 & 25, 2020 (Saturday & Sunday) - The slurry seal work on the weekends will be restricted to only the major arterial streets that include Airport Blvd, South San Francisco Dr., Sister Cities Blvd. and a portion of Hillside Blvd. All other street segments in residential neighborhoods will be scheduled for treatment on weekdays during normal business hours.
