Made just for Record Store Day, this obscure 3 inch vinyl format was originally introduced in Japan in 2004 known as 8-Ban (one sided recordings capable of holding 4 mins of monophonic sound. Though tiny, this can boast a pretty serious sound. How you listen to it is up to... you. Equipped with: an Audio Technica MMC, Pitch Control Slider, USB or batterypowered options, headphone/line out jack, built-in speaker and the tiniest dust cover ever w/full portability. We like to keep some mystique here on FB.. and also don't like flooding your feeds. However here's one for all you local/semi-local vinyl enthusiasts out there. Record Store Day is coming up on 4|13. What's Record Store Day? Please read: Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2008 and held on one Saturday every April and every "Black Friday" in November to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store". The day brings together fans, artists, and t...housands of independent record stores across the world. A number of records are pressed specifically for Record Store Day, with a list of releases for each country, and are only distributed to shops participating in the event. The event began in the United States and remains headquartered there. Record Store Day has official international organizers in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Australia, and Spain. Now that you're in the loop, spread the word, bring your friends, make mom or dad buy you records as an early or belated bday present.
