OK, IF YOU'RE FEELIN' LIKE THIS. Monday's got you overwhelmed? Let's change that. So you're swamped with a million projects, your inbox is overflowing and you've got 100 deadlines to meet. How the heck are you going to do it all? This answer may surprise you, but what you really need is a pause. I challenge you to take a 2 minute pause from all activity. Close your laptop or switch off your monitor, step away from your desk if you can, and spend just two minutes without... technology or social interaction and focus on your breath. Yes, your breath. Imagine your breath is a drawing into the ocean and flowing back out to the shore. Set a timer for 2 minutes so you don't have to stress about going over the allotted time. If you can, try this out while laying on your back or while sitting upright in a supportive chair. When your 2 minutes is up, take a few seconds to notice how different you feel now. Has the rhythm of your breath changed? How does your head feel? Before you dive back into work, jot down your to-do list so that all the things you need to do are no longer swarming around your head. Trust your abilities and know that you will get all your work done in time. Creatives, where do you find your design inspo? We tend to gravitate towards our designated soul nook where we keep our favorite books, photographs, journals, and plants. Or, if we're looking for something entirely new, we like to take a walk through a neighbourhood we've never explored before.

What tools do you use to ensure your work is aligned with your brand? A moodboard is a fun, effective way of stringing together imagery that represents the colors, textures, emotions, words, and overall aesthetic you're going for with your brand. It's great to create one when you're first building your brand, but it can also be useful to create when your products change or you're introducing a new service. What will that product or service look and feel like? Play around with a moodboard to get clear about it.
