Who are these masked women and what are they doing at the Huntington Beach Pier at 10am on a Sunday? 12 members of the Soroptimist International of Huntington Beach's Stop Human Trafficking Team plus one Soropti-pooch met the virtual 5K challenge for Waymakers to raise money and awareness to stop all types human trafficking in Orange County. The team, spearheaded by Mary Chiappetta, included Sylvia, Christine, Jacqui, Linda, Marcelle, Carrie, Bari, Georgette, Leslie, Marilyn, Terry and Spirit.
