Soroptimist of West Sonoma County

We started an incredibly awesome project today! Many moons ago there used to be a Soroptimist International of Sebastopol club, and they left a wonderful legacy for our club to pick up and carry on. We are in phase one of remodeling the Gazebo. Sonoma County Regional Parks had graciously power washed, and provided brand new power tools for us to use. Stay tuned...

Do you know a woman head of household, going to school, with dependants, and can use financial assistance? Our club is taking applications to give a $1,000 award. They can submit their application by November 15th. Ultimately, a Live Your Dream Awards finalist has the potential receive up to $16,000 to help offset tuition costs, purchase books, get transportation, or find reliable childcare so she can worry less about how to pay her bills and focus on reaching her dreams.... August marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote.
