Only evacuations centers currently available are Santa Rosa Fairgrounds and Marin Fairgrounds. All other places are at capacity.

Everyone wants to know what's going on. Here is the deal: Evacuations are in place to protect you and fire personal. If the fire jumps in to residential areas there are few resources to combat them so best to keep every one out. Electricity has been cut to mitigate additional fires from lines. ... At daybreak, assessments will be made. CalFire usually updates at 8am and 6pm so look for updates then. We will not get an update on how large the fire has spread until that point. The reason this storm is so concerning is that strong sustainable winds are expected for hours, which is unusual. We also have winds coming from the north on the coastal side and then converging with winds coming from the northeast. This is why this storm is unpredictable.
