Wedding season has begun! Weather has been superb, our first wedding took place on Earth Day, April 22nd with Christiana and Mark celebrating with friends, family and pet! Our intrepid photographer, Diane Askew has already posted a photo. We have more images to come, and more weddings on the way. What a wonderful surprise to see a message from Diane Askew that her wine country photography had traveled across the pond to be seen on a British web site. Immediately curious, I visited Beyond Beyond and lo and beholdIt’s Kenwood’s own Dale McCoy and his 1916 vintage Model T Touring Car. Dale, a member of our little country church got the car from his dad, so it goes back a while and Dale himself, dresses the part of a turn of the century driver, complete with Top Hat and Tails. This past weekend, on Saturday, July 31st, local friends, Heidi and Eddie were married at Kenwood Church followed by a grand reception at the Kenwood Depot. They picked all the gorgeous flowers themselves that Sat. morning, hours before the ceremony. Tomorrow, they set off for Maui for a honeymoon. Bon Voyage!
