The group will describe equipment and design approaches that minimize or eliminate the need for module-level power electronics while meeting NEC 690.12(B)(2) requirements before opening the floor for audience questions.

Project Spotlight: Big shout out to Energy Wise Services out of Albany, OR! This 112 kW array sits atop the Benton County Law Enforcement Building. A grant from Blue Sky thru Pacific Power helped them complete this project. Energy Wise Services used our ballasted FR510 solution with a 6 degree tilt and 8" inter- row spacing.

We strongly oppose the use of tariffs on solar modules in the current 201 case. Our companies and our domestic suppliers support more than 5,700 manufacturing jobs across America. The metal structures we produce literally hold solar energy systems together and are one of the three major manufactured products in a solar system: - Modules (convert light to electricity) - Advanced electronics (convert direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC) electricity; increase the power production from modules; provide measurements and controls) - Mounting structures (typically metal and physically support the solar power plant on the ground or a roof)
