How It All Began... In February 2014, Valentine’s Day was approaching, and my wife Tracy (@prismofthreads) envisioned celebrating our love with a rainbow #rawvegancheesecake! I had made my first cake on our honeymoon, and made several over the years for friends and family. This cake was something different, though: rainbow layers that had to be poured and set up individually, each colored with fruit and herbs. It took me all day. The result was very special, with a spectru...m of color in each bite! When we took pictures of the cake and shared them, the response was overwhelming. Encouragement and excitement poured in from friends. I kept making cakes, giving them away, just to keep riding the wave of joy that the work was bringing to us and our community! A lot of wonderful things have happened since then, and here we are seven years later! Sharing our vision of cake and gifts is a dream come true! None of it would be possible without Tracy believing in me; she pushed me then (as she does now) to do something I had never done before. We are offering four inch mini cakes at the shop this Valentine’s (made in that same labor intensive way) to celebrate the process and share some of that original spark with you! The flavor is the ... a rare opportunity to taste layers of the fruit based color that usually only adorn the top of each cake! There are only 8 cakes available!
