Christian Help Center & Solano Dream Center Supportive Services Open House In celebration of its 37th year of service to those who are experiencing homelessness, the Christian Help Center (CHC) announces its recent partnership with the Solano Dream Center (SDC). Pastor Rey Bernardes President/Founder of the Christian Help Center and Pastor Mike Wurz of the Solano Dream Center in Fairfield are collaborating in this faith-based ministry to provide housing, food, and supportive ...services to those-in-need. Central components of this successful program are daily bible studies as well as classes in financial management, career planning, employment search, and many more. The CHC will transition operations of the men’s housing program to SDC staff while remaining responsible for the overall management of CHC. To learn more about the partnership of CHC and SDC, the public is invited to an Open House on Friday, November 20 from 10:00-2:00 at 2166 Sacramento St. in Vallejo. The first day of the 4th Annual Stuff the Bus Food Drive was a huge success. We're back today at the Safeway at 5051 Business Center Drive in Fairfield. Stop by... and say hi or make a donation! The 4th Annual Stuff the Bus event on April 12 and 13 was a huge success once again! Food and toiletry items totaling 8,100 pounds (more than 4 tons) were coll...ected over two days. For the first time, two FAST buses were needed to hold collected donations. The event benefited and items were distributed to three local non-profits, SHELTER Solano, Community Action North Bay, and Solano Dream Center (Nomadic Sheltering). Thank you to our partners and event sponsors, Fairfield and Suisun Transit Staff.

Second graders rule the world!!!

Who Runs the World...Second Graders! Students at E. Ruth Sheldon Academy held a jog-a-thon on May 3rd, and the 75 participating kiddos raised $1,070!! The monies have been donated to support our Nomadic Shelter Homeless Program. Special thanks to the generous students and the Fairfield Police Dept.
