After dealing with airlines, Cable TV, AT&T and other service providers, it's easy to become a little jaded. When my wife and I were looking for a sofa and love seat, plus a few bar stools, we were pleased to find that good customer service isn't dead. In fact, it's alive and well at a small furniture store on Polk Street called Sofas 4 Less. Derek... and Marissa really go the extra mile to assure that the furniture you buy from them meets your needs and you're completely happy with the purchase. The store includes a variety of sofa styles on their floor so it's easy to have a very good idea of what your sofa will look like. You order the exact sofa you want with choices on size, fabric, style, firmness, etc. It's assembled in Stockton CA and it arrives at your door in less than 2 weeks. It's a great business model. A few days after we ordered the sofa and love seat, my wife had second thoughts about the color we chose. We made a last minute call to Marissa to see if she could stop the order so we could come back to the store and change our color choice. She was very accommodating and we chose a color that we were much happier with. The order change still didn't result in a delay in receiving the couches, which was a nice bonus. Derek also kept in close touch to make sure we were completely satisfied after the furniture arrived. In fact, he changed out the legs on the ottoman so it was a better fit with the sofa. We got to the store right before it closed and Marissa was more than happy to help us. She answered all our questions. There were SO many fabric choices and I specifically wanted a really nice and modern grey couch and loveseat. We finally chose the Dante style in Marlo Dolphin (which is grey with a tiny hint of brown). We ordered it on Sunday night and it was ready by Friday. Thats incredible for a custom couch. We got it delivered and it was PERFECT. I was so impressed with the quality of the couch and love seat. It was such a great experience. I will never buy from another store again!
