WORM BINS - So I'm starting a pilot program for residential composting under Closing The Loop. I know we've tried in the past to do residential composting and that some of you here in San Diego are interested but here it goes again. If you've ever wanted to compost but don't want to deal with it here's a great way to do it. For $15 a MONTH! - that's 50 cents a day - you can have a worm bin set up at your home AND I'll service it once a month for you and give you half the c...astings for your yard if you want. So you get all the benefits of having a worm bin, and you reduce your waste stream by 40%, and you get castings! But here's to make it better. If you can get 2 or more of your neighbors (houses need to be in proximity) then the cost goes down to $10 a Month. IF you can get 20 houses on your street to do it - it goes down to $5 a month. I got 9 Cornish Rocks fed organic feed, greens, and grains ready for the table. They'll dress out between 4-5 lbs each. I'm selling them for $5 lb OR you can join me Saturday and experience taking the chicken from farm to your table. Time of the workshop will depend on interest and the cost is $30.
