Just a reminder to workers: It is always a good idea to keep a calendar to document the number of days worked, hours worked, projects you worked on, and types of work performed on each project. If you believe that you are misclassified based on the work you do, or have any other questions, contact the CCC.

As a reminder, an alternative workweek schedule, e.g., a 4/10 schedule where no overtime is paid unless an employee works more than 10 hours a day or 40 hours a week, is not allowed on public works projects. Employees working more than 8 hours a day are entitled to overtime pay according to their prevailing wage determination.
