Eight years ago I moved to Kansas. This picture was taken soon before I left. These wonderful women have been in my life for over half of my life. Why are we more picky about our dating life than who we choose as a realtor? I've been a real estate agent for a little over a year now. I realize that in no way makes me an expert, but I've seen my fair share over the past year of potential clients come into open houses, that I've talked on the phone to as a Zillow agent, or just had casual conversations with at a party or get together that goes something like this: Them-we're just looking but we have a friends daughter, mai...lman, hairdresser's niece, blah, blah, fill in the blank, that is a real estate agent. Me- I totally understand, why aren't they with you today? How has it been going with them? Are they providing great service for you? Really the conversation changes as the situation changes.. Them-No, they are busy this weekend, well they just got their license so they haven't developed any relationships yet, we will be their first client, ummm no I'm still wondering if I can qualify for a loan first. You get the jist of the idea. It really makes me wonder why people put so much time and faith into someone they barely know or who isn't working their butt off for them. I mean this will be one of the largest purchases of their life. I've seen more people put more effort into Tinder ( not me of course,lol) No she's too crazy, too young, too old, not cute enough, they have dogs and I hate dogs, they smoke, they hate animals... The list goes on. I mean really would make a date than tell them to try out the restaurant on their own? Then why is it ok for your agent to do that? Here's my ending to this long post- Your agent should be giving you 100% of what you need, and make this buying or selling process as smooth as possible, educate you, expose you to their trusted lenders and make you feel like you're well taken care of. On Christmas Eve this angel gained her wings. This picture is a great indication of who Sheila was, giving you the bird with a big smile. I ran into Sheila here and there at parties. But I got the pleasure of getting to really know her when I joined @biglercaron . She is such a respected and caring person. There is definitely another angel watching over all of us with that determined spirit, wonderful laugh and soft heart. I’ve never met anyone like her and I doubt I will again.
