The Fish that Got Away!! Imperial Beach Kiwanis is sponsoring the FREE IB Fishing Derby on Saturday, August 23 at our very own IB Pier. This fun event is open to ages up to 16 years old and promises fun for the whole family, including prizes and bragging rights! Sign in is 8 AM to 8:30 AM at Portwood Pier Plaza and the Fishing Derby starts at 9 AM and ends at 11 AM. Weigh-in will be at 11:30 AM. This gives dedicated fishing aficionados time to practice their casting skills and good stories about the one that got away!

Wow... things are hoping. We're still very behind in inventory. Here in Imperial Beach we sold 4 houses total last month, but the sales price was 11% higher than April.... I appreciate the slow climb much better than the fast one... just makes more sense.
