Have you ever experienced the importance of positive affirmations, especially first thing in the morning? One of my favorite theories for a happy and successful life is referred to as The Secret. The theory demonstrates that everything one wants or needs can be satisfied by believing in an outcome, repeatedly thinking about it, and maintaining positive emotional states to "attract" the desired outcome. Here are some morning affirmations to practice this theory. Sometimes the most effective form of encouragement comes from ourselves. Try a few of these and I promise you’ll see that a little positivity can make a huge difference throughout your day!

This week's staff spotlight is Annette from Soba Texas! Annette started working at Soba in 2015 as a tech. She most recently has been working on the operations team while going to school to get her license in chemical dependency counseling. Annette was granted her intern license last month and has transitioned into her new role as a Case Manager Intern. We are extremely proud of the work she has put into her education, career, and her own recovery! Way to go Annette!
