We have received 14-16" of snow since last night and it's still snowing! Mountain Patrol is reporting snowfall of an inch an hour at the top of the Snow Valley Express. Snowmaking is also in full force around the mountain with an emphasis on the runs highlighted in green. We will announce Tuesday's open terrain by 630am. We expect to continue making snow around-the-clock tomorrow, so please bundle up and stay warm. Please use your car as your lodge as current guidelines do not permit gathering indoors. As of 7:30am Friday the NWS is calling for 11-20 inches of snow at Snow Valley's location. While we know forecasts can change, we're excited to see winter in early November. It's been less than 72 hours since our summer operations ended, but we're busy getting ready for our next season of fun at Snow Valley. The bike racks are off the Snow Valley Express and it's back to running at its top speed of 1000 feet per minute. The snowmaking guns are out all over the mountain and winter will soon be here. We know times are tough and we're pleased to announce that any unused 2019-2020 winter season day lift tickets, whether paid or complimentary, will be valid during the 2020-2021 winter season under the same conditions (for example, a midweek, non-holiday ticket will be valid on the same dates this upcoming season). Dear Valued Snow Valley Guests: As of 4pm today, Sunday, November 1, 2020, our Summer 2020 operations have concluded for the season. We wish to thank our Guests who joined us this summer and made this our most successful summer season ever. We were the first lift serviced downhill bike park to open in the state back in May and the last to close in November! It has been a fantastic season and we have many great plans to further improve our Summer experience going forward. While it's always sad to say goodbye to a season, beginning on Monday, November 2, we will turn our attention to winter operations as we transform the Snow Valley Express, Southern California's first and only high speed 6 seat lift, into winter mode.
