GROWING AS A CHRISTIAN FAMILY with DIGNITY and RESPECT. On February 27, 2021, the Salt and Light Ministry of St. Mary Magdalene Parish in Corona is hosting a reflection at no charge on Zoom. The topic is entitled, Growing As a Christian Family with Dignity and Respect. Br. Loughlan Sofield, S.T., a well known author of numerous publications, such as Principled Ministry and Facing Forgiveness, and facilitator of numerous lectures in the U.S. and abroad will be the sp...eaker. He will share his knowledge of Pope Francis’ latest papal encyclical, Fratelli Tutti (On Fraternity and Social Friendship). Human dignity and respect are two of the priorities which are part of a master plan for the transformation of the global family. Even though Fratelli Tutti seems to be directed toward world leaders and politicians, it has relevance for each of us. Br. Sofield will address compassion, forgiveness and gift which have a direct impact on the family. Focusing on these issues will enable us to grow spiritually and strengthen our bond as a Christian family.
