A small group of South County Teen Leadership Program & Mentoring Program youth helped the Redwood City/San Mateo County Toy and Book Drive prepare for the upcoming holidays! The group is excited to help the Toy Drive bring some holiday spirit to their community!

Today, the little mentoring program and the sports program teamed up to get some fresh air and play some ball! Through this program the youth have been able to take a break from at home schooling and have some fun.

The Elementary and the Middle School Mentoring groups created a alter (ofrenda) for Dia de los Muertos this week. The youth wanted to honor and remember the lives of loved ones, heroes, and pets who have passed.

Too often, mental health stigma can leave people feeling isolated and ashamed. Your attitude to mental health could change someone’s life.
When someone reaches out to you about their mental health, the way you respond can make all the difference. Take it seriously, show them you're listening, and ask appropriate questions if they need some extra support.
The Mentoring Program had a blast carving pumpkins this week with the help from the older High School Mentoring and TLC programs. Each youth was able to pick out their own pumpkin and create their very own masterpiece. #teamworkmakesthedreamwork
