Auction Fundraiser We take so many things in life for granted. I must admit, I am also guilty of this act. Two years ago, our family spent countless hours in the hospital, wishing and praying for a miracle to happen as my only niece was suffering excruciating pain from cancer and slowly becoming emaciated. We caught a glimpse of hope after her bone marrow transplant but our joys were short-lived as she saw the light for the last time in January of 2017. CHOC Hospital ha...s been by our side as we neared Hell and back, but there are still many children like my niece who are holding on to their lives and wishing for some miracle to happen. I would like to provide some hope to those children and their families but I can’t do it alone. I would appreciate anyone who is willing to join me in raising money for cancer research and also to help aid in providing treatments to those families who are unable to afford them. Please donate any gently used items you no longer want or are not using for an auction fundraiser during the raffle event on June 23rd. All the proceeds made from the auction portion of the event will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (C.H.O.C). I will start the fundraiser by donating $300.00. Your donations could be the miracle needed to help bring normalcy to a child and their family’s lives. Please help these children’s odds for survival and help families save their loved ones. If you can bring in any donated items for the auction before the 23rd, it would really help us be more organized and prepared before the event. Thank you very much for your time and donations.
