Foster Parent or Foster to Adopt Parent Needed: We have a couple of older cats that I would love see placed in a foster home for a family-time break as well as get to know more information about them to hopefully be able to identify what their personalities are like in a home as well as special skills that they may have. This information will assist us to be able to promote to find their family that would be a good forever match for them. (I’m sorry) Here are the cats I am reaching out to you about: Barnabas: We have an amazing sweet male (neutered) 7 year old cat living life at the Santa Maria Animal Center. His name is Barnabas. I understand he walks well with a harness and from what I have experienced is that he is a love bug that will happily let you pick him up and hug him. Such a gentle little soul. Barnabas thrives on human contact and will eat well when he is experiencing love an attention. He does have chronic renal disease but his quality of life is good and his coat looks shiny. His only medication that he is on is when his tummy is upset (nauseated)and that is only when needed medication. Barnabas is fine around carefree cats and he does use his litter box. LeeLee: Lee Lee is an 18 year old cat beautiful Brown and Chocolate Siamese short haired female who is definitely TO OLD to be living life in a shelter. LeeLee loves attention and is a very sweet gentle cat. LeeLee does have hyperthyroidism and is on special wet food that she loves and is on medication twice daily. She does seem to be fine around older cats and would love to be in a home where she can be brushed and given lots of love. She does use her litter box.
