STREET RESURFACING ON GRANT AVE AND VIA MERCADO The Alameda County 2016 Street Repavement & Preventative Maintenance Program will be working on Grant Ave and Via Mercado in September and October. We will update this post once the work date is finalized. If you live near either street, you may receive a notice from Alameda County Public Works requesting you park your vehicles off the street so the work may be performed. "No Parking" signs will be posted 48 hours before the ...work starts on the affected street. During construction, vehicular access to the streets may be limited. EDEN NIGHT LIVE- Check it out tonight! Every Friday and Saturday night July through October, you must check out Eden Night live- lots of great food trucks, local artisans, businesses and community organizations- not to mention entertainment for everyone! Tip of the day: Use the Mobile Citizen app on your phone when you see graffiti, garbage, or street problems! Alameda County has a fantastic smart phone app, Mobile Citizen which makes it easy for the community to report issues to the Public Works Department. When you see a problem, open the app, select the issue you wish to report and take a picture of the problem. The app will know your location via GPS. You will then get a confirmation number and you will receive statu...s reports until the issue is closed. San Lorenzo's Kelly-Moore Paints created a fantastic book of paint samples that you can use to help you select your design! The book was designed specifically for the homes in San Lorenzo Village. Thank you Kelly Moore! The book has 20 different designs. Each design includes the base color, trim color and accent color. Each color design has been pre-ap...proved by the Association. The books are available at the SLVHA office to borrow and return at your convenience. Tip of the Day: Avoid a parking ticket on a rolled curb: Section 22500 (f) of the Vehicle Code prohibits parking on sidewalks. The Alameda County Sheriff Department is responsible for its enforcement San Lorenzo curbs are predominately curved. Avoid a parking ticket by parking below the line at the top of the curb and avoid parking over the sidewalk where your driveway ends.
