Auction to benefit Mountain Parks Foundation's Big Basin Recovery Fund! Redwood Leaf earrings handcrafted in pure silver with 24k gold foil and patina by Santa Cruz artist Himani Natu. All proceeds from this auction benefit Mountain Parks Foundation's Big Basin Recovery and Restoration Fund to support the rebuilding of Big Basin Redwoods State Park after the #CZULightningComplex Fires. To craft the earrings, Himani painted precious metal clay slip onto actual redwood leaves,... then fired them in a kiln to bring out the pure silver. 24k gold foil and patina were added as accents. As a native of India, Himani’s cultural upbringing adds a unique aesthetic to her jewelry.
