Today is World Wish Day! A day that celebrates the anniversary of the first wish granted in 1980. Chris Greicius, a young boy battling leukemia, wished to meet and become a police officer for a day. The impact that Chris’ wish had on his family and the whole community sparked the creation of Make-A-Wish and a global wish-granting movement.
