Once FIDM's 3 days of Fashion was over, the difficult task of choosing the top 10 designs from each campus began! Skid Row Housing Trust program staff and peer advocates pored over each entry to select the top 40 designs out of nearly 1,000 and now you get to decide on the top 4! The winning designs will inspire a limited run reproduction with proceeds going towards providing employment training and resources to formerly homeless residents of Skid Row Housing Trust. Thank you to all those who bought a blank Carry It Forward tote at our booth at Mayor Eric Garcetti's Gift of Giving event last Wednesday! For every blank tote sold, a FIDM student-designed tote bag will be given to a formerly-homeless resident of Skid Row Housing Trust and workforce development funds are raised.
