Thank you so much for a) helping us take care of Skater's Point, and b) understanding we had to close last Saturday for Day of Caring. Next Saturday it's back business as usual.

We love that Santa Barbara cares enough about Skater's Point to help us maintain it on Day of Caring (Saturday, September 17, btw). Here's what another beachside community is doing; what do you think?

Skater's Point will be closed on Saturday, September 17 for United Way of Santa Barbara County Day of Caring. Volunteers will help us paint the skatepark and do other improvements that day; to sign up for Day of Caring, please visit http://www.unitedwaysb.org/day-caring-2016 Two things: 1. Skate Saturdays youth skate time won't happen on September 17 because of the park closure.... 2. We may close Sunday, September 18 as well to do some maintenance to the park cement. If we're going to close that day, we'll let you know as soon as we know. Thanks, everyone!
