SIXTH STREET BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Skanska Stacy and Witbeck crews are currently installing falsework for the Arch Ribs on the east side of the Sixth Stree...t Viaduct Replacement Project. There are 3 pairs of Arch Ribs underway. Two of these pairs will each be 30 feet in height, while the eastern-most set will be 40 feet tall. The work on Span 12 has required some closures of the 101 Freeway below and a lot of construction is being done at night in order to reduce traffic impacts. After the falsework is constructed, rebar and other interior elements must be installed before concrete can finally be poured for each Arch Rib.
