Another amazing story in the world of Veterinary Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy recently. A duck had been hit by a car in the evening and was immediately brought into the emergency service by a witness. The duck had traumatic abrasions on the head and was in a position of torticollis. The folks at Animal Emergency & Referral Center in Ft. Pierce, FL immediately placed the duck into the Sechrist SV500 chamber at 1.5 ATA for a total duration of one hour.... The following morning, the duck was transported to the regional wildlife rehab center. It was examined, and released back to its natural habitat immediately. Great job by the team in Ft.
