Recent deaths of friends and family members have brought us to pull out our Book of the Dead. We have added a Pandemic 2020 page, and in our evening prayer we r...emember these people and those unable to gather for a funeral. If you would like names added, please message me. It is so hard to not gather when people need to have others with them for funerals, etc. See more

We need food, water, hygiene items, diapers and baby wipes. There is also a food bank in Torrance that needs help. Please, as long as people who need food are getting it, donate to someone near you. We are all working to the same purpose. https://www.newchallengeministries.com/about-new-challenge.

The Sisters of Charity of Rolling Hills are not able to take donations of clothes and other items at this time. We are open to those in need, however, and the supplies in our food pantry are getting low. Please, if you have extra non-perishable foods (canned goods, pasta, rice, beans, etc.), we would be grateful for the donation. Sr. Darlene has also suggested supermarket gift cards. The Sisters of Charity of Rolling Hills are open. We believe that times like this are part of our mission and service. Our primary concern right now is for people who are not able to find food in stores due to panic buying. If you would like to help, we are especially looking for canned fish, chicken, and meat. Beans and rice are good staples for us as well. And please--support your local food banks wherever you are.
