FUEL FILL RECOMMENDATION. - Everyone is in a hurry, including you...admit it. A good rule of thumb is to not let your fuel gauge go under a quarter tank too often. Fuel is used as a cooling agent for the fuel pump in the tank. If fuel is frequently low, the pump will be working overtime which causes failure. Depending on the vehicle, this can be a costly nightmare for some. Lucky for the hybrid drivers, they don't have to fill up as often, but the same rules do apply. Enjoy your ride....Happy motoring!

WIPER BLADE REPLACEMENT. - Most vehicles are equipped with "Hook-Type" wiper arms and takes approximately 5 minutes to change. It used to be where you would just change the blade (rubber portion) of the wiper. However, with the competition and number of brands offering blades now, you can purchase entire blades at very reasonable prices. This will save you some time. If you own a luxury type vehicle, it's best to use an OEM brand/type blade. This will ensure proper function and fit. They will be slightly more in price, however, will save you from the headache of them not working, and multiple trips to the auto parts store.

AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT. - When's the best time? Dealerships and handbooks usually state when to do so, however, it may not be the case in some dust prone areas. Therefore, it's best to visually inspect if needed and proceed accordingly. On some vehicles it is more than just a few snap clips and requires some labor and tools. However, this is one of many parts that can save you some $$$ and time by changing it yourself. Always use caution or research information before re...placing any parts on your vehicle. Recalls and/or updated replacement of parts on vehicles are sometimes not fully disclosed. Happy Motoring!
