The Center opened this morning at 8am and will be available throughout the day. Affected residents can charge phones and stay apprised of the status of the shut-off. Southern California Edison (SCE) will host a #CommunityResourceCenter in #SimiValley on Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19 in response to its upcomin...g Public Safety Power Shutoffs. A Community Resource Center located at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi, will be available to residents on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day. In order to utilize the services available at the Community Resource Center, participants must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Questions may be directed to Southern California Edison’s Customer Service Team at (800) 611-1911. The City of Simi Valley is not responsible for the Public Safety Power Shutoffs and does not operate the Community Resource Centers.
