The new mill we built is working great. This pattern is only possible to achieve by getting 2 slabs from the same tree, which is why I choose to mill my own slabs. The pattern is called butterflied because one side exactly mirrors the other. Can wait for these to finish seasoning and make a conference or dining table out of them. Approx 3’x12’.

Proud to take the first slab off this 100 year old pine with the new mill. We designed and fabricated this mill ourselves to accommodate big logs just like this. This mill can handle trunks up to 5’ wide and 20’ long. The pine you see here is 16’ long.
