Had a fun filled day today at New Melones. The Kokanee bite was solid this morning, we had 13 fish in the box by 8:30 then we came upon a lull in the bite. After switching up gear along with a change in fishing area, the bite kicked in again and got 20 fish by noon. #newmelones #kokanee #paulinapeaktackle #fishingguide #fishing #sierrasportfishing

Found the #stripedbass at #newhoganlake this morning. I put Brad Inglis on the and he got his 10 fish by noon. Biggest fish was 4 1/2lbs. #busymorning #limitsaretherule #sierrasportfishing #fishing #fishingguide

Slower bite at #newmelones but we put in the work and got our 3 limits of #kokanee by 12:30 along with a bonus rainbow trout that weighed in at 2lbs. #sierrasportfishing #fishing #fishingguide

Good Kokanee bite today. Limited by 10:00 with a few throwbacks and some other missed fish. There’s only 9 fish in pic because I got busy cleaning one when I realized no pics were taken. LOL

Kokanee bite is wide open at New Melones. We had our 10 fish in the box by 7:45 this morning. Fish are fat and healthy measuring up to 16. Going to be a good year.

Just found out today. We took 3rd place by the skin of our teeth in the #kokaneepower Shasta derby this past weekend. We had to head home and couldn’t stay for results. Saturday was great, Sunday was a bit tough. Thanks guys for putting on this tournament. Always a fun event, and looking forward to next year.
