The CSUN chapter expanded their student to professional mentorSHPE program from (5) pairings to (30+) pairings in the Fall 2020 Semester. A committee was created to reach out to alumni and our corporate network of professionals to host professional development workshops and facilitate conversations between mentees and mentors. The program has received the support of professionals from (14) different companies across (7) different engineering disciplines. ... As a result, the committee now has the ability to offer this program to community college students expanding our reach, retention, and the ability to accommodate each of our members’ individual goals.
