It's a day after Thanksgiving and there are many things to be thankful about in our lives. One in particular is celebrating a milestone this week. 20 years ago Christina joined our Practice team. Her strong work ethic, personality, and care for others has been an important part in making this team and Practice what it is today. We are grateful for her, as a colleague and a friend.

Is your house full of Halloween candy? No, I won't say that it's bad for your teeth or to avoid it. Enjoy! Just remember to brush and floss well before going to bed :-).

Groups like the California CareForce donate their time and resources to freely help those in need of medical treatment and don't have the insurance or financial resources to pay for it. In September, Dr. Shore and Lindsey from our Practice gave their weekend to the clinic at Cal Expo helping numerous in need of dental care. "I floss, but my gums still bleed when I brush. What am I doing wrong?" This question comes up a lot with patients. Not as often as "I don't floss and my gums bleed," but let's avoid the obvious. Patients needing a crown no longer have to return for a second or third appointment to get their completed crown fitted.
