Hi IG fam! Lots of new friends here since we opened our Santa Cruz location so I thought I’d hop on for an introduction! I’m Tammy and grew up in Saratoga (although I spent half my childhood in Santa Cruz bc my dad’s office was there) and was lucky to have a mom who could make anything and everything. I learned to appreciate the value of handcrafted goods at a young age and have always had a knack for styling and thrifting. I managed and did some buying for a local boutiq...ue right out of college for a few years, then worked at Free People as a senior manager for 5 years before I took off to travel Australia for a year. Little did I know I would meet a fun Aussie man who had the same interests and who would inspire me to do even better - to live more sustainably and minimize my footprint where I could. Dave and I bonded over our love of fashion, searching for vintage treasures, and finding local artists and businesses whenever we traveled. We often dreamed and talked about opening our own shop filled with all the magical goods we loved and wanted to share with our community. Fast forward 5 years and here we are with 3 shops full of all the beautiful locally made goods we personally handpick, in hopes to share our joy with those who walk through our doors! I’m still shocked that Dave uprooted his whole life to take a chance on us; not a day goes by where I don’t feel like the luckiest woman in the world! Redemption is everything and more we could have dreamed of and we are so grateful to have 3 shops that we can pour our hearts, souls, and love into together... as a team, best friends, and life partners. We truly love the products we sell, the makers we work with, and our community of customers who have become our friends. Thank you for believing and trusting in us to bring you the best of California made. We have so much fun doing this and from the beginning it’s been our mission to support only local small businesses so you can rest assured your hard earned dollars are staying right here in our beloved communities! Long story short: Dave has an arthritic hip due to surgery and for years needed heavy painkillers to manage the pain.
