Link for virtual activities will be posted in canvas page under the announcements. Participate on a days activities and receive a water bottle sticker for that days theme. All stickers can be picked up from Shivela's front office on October 30th.

Good Afternoon Panther Families, October 26-30 is Wellness Week at Shivela! Every day we will focus on a different area of wellness for our students. Each day also includes a dress up theme and a lunchtime activity. Students who participate in the activities will earn prizes provided by our ASB team. Please see flyer for the daily details. Good Evening Panthers, Our school district is providing a FREE 24/7 tutoring service for all students through an outside source called Paper. This is available now. Please have your child check their school email account for an email from Paper. Many students are finding it in their other folder. This email will tell them how to start student accounts and utilizing this resource. Students will be able to chat with tutors who can support them in a variety of academic areas. A message from MVUSD, Dear Murrieta Valley USD community, Earlier today, Riverside County announced it has moved to the red tier of the State of California - County COVID-19 Monitoring System. The red tier permits schools to re-open and bring students back on campus for limited instruction, as long as, Riverside County remains in the red tier for a minimum of fourteen days. Reopening plans for all MVUSD school sites must include Riverside County Public Health guidance for r...e-opening, as well as, the school mandates listed in the California Department of Public Health school guidance, which includes, social distancing, face coverings for students and staff, and heightened health and safety procedures. Our district wants to ensure that we are prepared to implement an in-person learning environment that promotes the health and safety of our students, staff, and families. As of today, we have been successful with re-opening selected student services, such as the MVUSD preschool, childcare, and in-person student assessments. We continue to work collaboratively with our employee associations towards a phased re-opening plan with a priority on returning students to school safely and smoothly. A detailed re-opening presentation will be delivered to the Board of Education during the October 8, 2020 regular meeting. Good Morning Panther Families!Tuesday, September 15, will be our Virtual Back to School Night. We miss being able to have all our families on campus, however this format will still get you all the information you need for each class, with the added bonus of watching when you'd like from the comfort of your home. Teachers have been busy preparing videos this week. We will be sending out a link to Back to School videos at 4:00 p.m. on September 15.
