Bunny Flat is a lonely place now. The storm up here is starting to kick in with over an inch an hour falling and moderate south winds blowing. We hope to be unburying this place in a few days. Shout out to the Siskiyou County plow drivers for working hard to keep it clear. Stay safe out there.

Siskiyou County plans to close both the Everitt Memorial Highway (past McBride Springs CG) and Castle Lake gates by tomorrow, Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, at noon, 12 p.m. Due to the predicted snow accumulation and the County's availability to plow the roads in a timely manner, this is a safety measure. Please remove any vehicles parked above the gate at that time.
