Thanksgiving Gratitude Inventory: Preparation: - Sit or lie down comfortably - Breathe in from your feet to the top of your head... - Exhale with a audible sigh "haaaa" from head to feet - Repeat 3-5x - Let the mind be relaxed in creative potential with action Visualization: - Think about and visualize Earth. Explore what comes up and find something that your are grateful for involving Earth - Explore the element of Water. What are you grateful for about Water? - Next allow yourself to visualize and experience Fire. Find gratitude for Fire. - Notice the Air touching your skin and moving with each breath. What does your heart have to say? - Even more subtle is the idea of Space. Explore your relationship to space. The space that makes up your body. The spaces that you live and work in. The space you hold for others in your life. The space you give yourself for exploring life. The space(s) all around us. What are you grateful for about Space? Implementation: As you move back into your daily life, imagine these elements alive in everyone around you. The gratitude you have for them will connect you with others in a more meaningful way. Use this gratitude technique when faced with family and friends and holiday expectations. Listen to what each person brings and connect with their good intentions even if expressed through broken communication patterns. We are all connected by the life of the elements.

Special Intro to Buddhism Class Saturday Feb 9th at 11am. The Sat Yoga will be pushed back to 12:30pm. Come for Tai Chi at 8:45am, have some tea at the shack and read an inspiring book, stay for the Buddhist Class then finish with some sacred movement in Yoga. Sounds like a good Saturday.
