UNDER SADDLE: Tuxedo is a pleasure to ride, he has spent his whole life out on the trail and very little in the arena. He picks up his leads right away on trail, but sometimes feels he doesn’t have enough room to move out in the arena and needs a confident leg to help him understand the job at task. DISCIPLINE: ENDURANCE! This boy LOVES his job!! Super good drinker, will eat anything you put in front of him and is a total pro at the vet checks with his quick to pulse down, great scores and fast recoveries! All his 50’s last year were completed with junior riders! He has done ride & ties placing 2nd in the world championships! 4th of July parades, lessons & frequent swimming trips to the lake! RIDER EXPERIENCE: Tux needs a rider who is conscious about body language, balance, sensitivity, light hands and energy. Experienced rider is preferred, but he took care of his intermediate/beginner rider for a couple 50milers with flying colors. FARRIER: Tux just started the season in full shoes, from being barefoot and booted his whole life in Nevada. He has super hard healthy hooves, was trained up to his first 50 barefoot and shod the week before. Shod last on: 11/18/19 HEALTH INFORMATION: Tuxedo has a clean bill of health! Bittersweet. Last day of 2019, Jazz officially headed home!! This loving border collie of a gelding has been with me for 2 years! Growing, learning how to adult as a real horse and fit in with the herd. Playing and learning how to interact correctly with humans, and figuring out his job on the trail. This right here is one of those once in a lifetime horses, his owner Lynne is going to do great things with this handsome fella. Hard seeing him leave today, as he has become such a big part of the barn, the herd and my god the sucker is the most entertaining goofball pony I’ve ever met!
