St. Francis' Episcopal Church

Today we celebrated a fun annual tradition of creating homemade Valentines cards for veterans and others unable to join us at church. Here’s our Valentines Committee posing with all of cards.

Yesterday we had our annual parish meeting! Parishioners enjoyed a Tex-Mex spread provided by the vestry, and enjoyed an efficient meeting which named new members to the vestry and the announced the members of our Rector Search committee. Thankfully we did not have to resort to the tactic seen here!

Last night, members of St. Francis' surprised the residents of Safe Harbor shelter in South San Francisco with an evening of BINGO! A few lucky winners received assorted prizes and gift cards made possible thanks to contributions from the generous parishioners of St. Francis'. We hope to return again next month for more fun and games.

We had a splendid 90th anniversary celebration in our La Fiesta Noventa. Many thanks to all who helped make it happen!

Ed and the Rector went to the Franciscan convent to help Sister Jean make candles for next year's Advent wreath.

We hosted another of Loriel Starr's Sounda Mandalas....a really beautiful healing gathering.

Easter was glorious, with special thanks to our amazing Altar Guild and choir!

Seems like a fitting reminder as people think about attending church this week and on Easter. This sign lives on our courtyard, where so many people come and go throughout the week.

We began the process of bagging up the items we collected, over Lent, for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.

The rain passed, and we had a beautiful morning for our Palm Sunday procession.
