All Saints. All Souls. When we think about saints, we may think of an exclusive group of people with certain attributes: noteworthy, pious, and dead. But we all become saints when we are baptized and join the church. READ MORE at https://www.stfrancisparish.com//2020-AllSaintsAllSoulshan

Catholics Care. Catholics Vote. Participate in political life. In their statement on Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship, the U.S. Catholic bishops remind Catholics about the call to participate in political life. In the Catholic tradition, they write, responsible citizenship is a virtue, and participation in political life is a moral obligation (no. 13). Visit www.faithfulcitizenship.org today to read the statement, watch guidelines and resources.Other parish resources can be found by visiting www.scd.org/faithful-citizenship - The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the California Catholic Conference

OPEN WIDE OUR HEARTS (new) In their Pastoral Letter Open Wide Our Hearts (https://bit.ly/3b7yv1G), U.S. Bishops issued a powerful invitation for all people of God to face courageously the sin of racism, educate ourselves, and make changes to the policies and structures that allow it to persist. Father Des and the St. Francis Pathways for Justice Ministry invite parishioners to read each week one of the two-page Backgrounders the bishops have assembled to assist education and action against the sin of racism. The Backgrounder for this week is Racism and Criminal Justice (https://bit.ly/34ufzYa).
