Monthly facials are an important part of skin health. Common questions... Why? What do you actually do to my face during a facial? Can’t I do it at home? Well, each esthetician works her magic with a carefully picked protocol for each facial. Obviously depending on skin type + desired outcome. Your body creates new skin monthly... you shed about 30-40,000 skin cells a DAY! Yikes right? So our job is to exfoliate the old with chemical peels, enzymes or manually (or sometimes both) and then we add in the good stuff, like antioxidants, vitamins and hydration.
