Fourteen years ago today, we lost 7 of the most courageous and loyal patriots to ever serve in the military. They did what they did, not for the glory or recognition, because they were called to by their own dedication to freedom and to save their fellow brothers and sisters. They all left behind wonderful memories, heartache, and strong legacies for others to live up to. The heartache I feel when I think of Jared, Jennifer, Travis Thomas, James, Gilbert and Manuel, is replaced with the pride I feel for these seven. The Seven Stars Foundation, their family and friends, and those who have learned their stories will never forget them. Rest in Peace Morphine 1-2.
