My daughters, Cynthia and Shannon surprised me with a visit for Mother's Day. We had such a great visit and had fun putting a beautiful puzzle together. Family time goes by so very fast.

I got beautiful flowers from my daughter Jaime for Mother's day. Thank you so much, they are so pretty. Two of my other daughters will be here any minute. What a special Day. I have the greatest family. I love you all.

After such a long period without rain, we finally have almost 2" in the last 3 days. The ranch is wet, the oak trees are full of leaves, and the grass is green. I love spring.

My minis are enjoying the warm day and new green grass. We are all ready for spring.

Sick Dog Our 1 1/2 yr old Anatolian Puppy started having seizures and throwing up a few weeks ago, and again 3 days ago. We found out she was eating Pampas Grass. So if you have it, or Palm type plants in your yard, PLEASE NOTE., they are poisonous to DOGS & CATS. According to the University of Arkansas and Mid Town Animal Clinic, pampas grass when ingested can cause sickness or death. Dogs can have a varied reaction to the poisonous pampas grass such as vomiting, drooling diarrhea, seizures or coma. Pets that eat poisonous plants often hide from their owners when they feel bad.

DOVES For SALE I have about 40 to many doves and they are starting to pick on each other. I have Pied, Orange, and Ivory. I am keeping the white. They are domestic and don't do well in the wild. I will sell at 3 for $10. Private message me for phone and address.

We had 550 reactions to this post and we still have "Nute" the mini pot-belly pig. We had three interested but I didn't get their reply for almost two months and they haven't contacted me back. He is still available.

Had to say goodbye to our old lady Satin yesterday. She was around 30 years old and was a wonderful gentle horse. Her time on our little ranch was good and she had a long life. It is so very hard when our fur family leaves us. We still have our little herd of 3 mini horses and Mojo, our little donkey. We loved you Satin and you will be missed. Now you can be with Sonny and Stormy.

I like to walk around our big pasture in the evening after my chores to check the fences and give Sheba, my dog, some exercise. Last night when I walked back to the barns the sun made the tree tops glow a bright gold. It was so pretty. The pasture is so very dry with no rain for months. Looking forward to some green grass again.
